Kalamazoo Cafe
Sunway Mas or Aman Suria definitely can define as a porky feast paradise because there are a few restaurants that serve delectable range of porcine food. They are located just a stone thrown away each other at the same row of shoplot eg: Andes, Betty Midwest and Kalamazoo Cafe that I’m going review today.
The owners which are Western Michigan University (WMU) graduates, each resided in the States between five to ten years. A couple of years after their return, they realized they missed those days so and decided to recreate them here, thus Kalamazoo Cafe was born.
Read the info about Kalamazoo HERE.
The decor was minimalistic with straightforward wooden furniture.
A special concrete feature wall.
Pictures of their university life plastered on the walls.
Back: Rootbeer Foat (RM 5.50), Front: Ice Lemon Tea (RM 3.00)
Pine Chutney Pork Burger (RM 13.50) + Additional Bacon (RM 2.20)
The burger is an ensemble of juicy pork patty, melted cheese & lettuce sandwiched in a soft bun with a side of pipping hot fries.
Who can resist the almighty bacon? Not me definitely!
My others pork burger hunting: Andes BYO, Nambawan , Cristang, Ninja Joe & Kissaten.
Callahan’s roast chicken (RM14.90)
Served together with mashed potato, muffin & greens.
Look at the enormous size of the chicken whole leg, filled a big eater monster like me perfectly! Tender and roasted nicely to a golden brown finish that was bursting with flavor in every bite!
