Priced at RM180.00+ for four person (without wine) and RM230.00+ with a bottle of wine (red or white), available every Saturday until 20th December 2017. The price is unquestionably reasonable for the food quality and portion, not to mention the comfortable environment, enjoy the barbequed food without breaking a sweat.
Choices of red or white wine to go with your meal.
Complimentary salad was fresh and crisp with choices of Thousand Island, balsamic and French dressings.
Beef Striploin – Served with black pepper and barbeque sauce, the voluptuous piece of beef was nicely grilled to medium doneness with a pleasurable char on the outer. Flavor wise, the beef was seasoned with minimal seasoning, perhaps just some salt and pepper to showcases the original meat flavor. The carnivore in me rejoice in this indulgent beefy pleasure.
The seafood selection of Tiger prawns and Seabass was generous in portion. I like the robust flavors of those chili coriander Tiger prawns, paired with the pleasant smoky flavor which literally had me licked my fingers after peeling the shells. 😛
The unpretentious grilled chicken chop was surprisingly well flavored and got seal of approval from my dining companions that evening.
Of course we couldn’t miss our vegetables quota. The medley of grilled vegetables presented colourfully comprised of broccoli, cauliflower, zucchini, carrot and corns on cob. While the main stars were sublime, the supporting casts were well executed too, slightly charred on the outer while the crunchiness still retained. There were roasted potatoes as well which was pretty awesome with beautiful crust and soft fluffy inner.
Dessert is rotated every week, we had bread pudding with Vanilla sauce and fresh fruit. Crowned with cream and drizzles of chocolate syrup, the bread pudding served with Vanilla sauce was not too sweet and I like it studded with almond flakes for that extra textural bite. A sweet conclusion to a wonderful dinner.
Verdict: Indeed a rock bottom deal for the price paid. It’s definitely a fully loaded portion more than enough for 4 persons. Food was above average I would say and the comfortable environment and cozy ambiance certainly great for all kind of gatherings.
