Lammeeya
Lammeeya, quite a straight forward name for a restaurant which obviously Lam Mee is their highlighted signature dish. Lam Mee is a type of thick starchy soup noodle with chicken meat, prawn, eggs and bean sprout. I’m not a big fan of Lam Mee but I heard that they also serve home cook dishes so I was here at Lam Mee Empire Shopping Gallery, Subang for my lunch on a weekend.
Almost fully occupied that day and the tables were cramped within the restaurant.
Open kitchen is a trend now 😛
Royal Milk Tea (RM 5.40++)
Decent with just the balance flavors of tea and milk.
Green Tea (RM 2.00++)
Original Lam Mee (RM 9.80++)
This bowl of Lam Mee consisted of shredded chicken, prawns, house mad pork balls, bean sprout and baby bok choy drenched in a thick brown soup. According to hubby, his bowl of Lam Mee was above average and he love to savor it with add a dash of black vinegar to jazz up the overall taste.
Lard Steam Rice (RM 3.00++)
Nowadays plain white rice definitely cannot satisfy a gourmand, how about a bowl of pipping hot steamed rice topped with pork lard? Sinfully delicious but slightly oily and could be better if more sy sauce added.
Steamed Pork and Dong Choy (RM 8.80++)
This was deemed a perfect companion with rice! Salty and palatable minced pork with dong choy (a kind preserved vegetable) went really well with the rice and don’t forget flood your rice with the savory gravy too. More rice please… 😛
Fried Egg with Tomato (RM 8.80++)
There are many version of fried egg with tomato, Lammeeya version was fried egg topped with fresh diced tomatoes. But I prefer scrambled egg fried with tomato which is more moist and the previous was too dry for my liking.
A revisit is predictable since hubby and I were satiated after our first visit at Lemmeeya 🙂

The lard rice is definitely sinfully good! love it with the pork knuckle in vinegar too.
