Rooftop bars are meant for great clubbing experience till late at night. What if you can now have breakfast (brunch to be exact) at one of the hottest rooftop bar in PJ?

Signature By The Hill nestled at The Roof, First Avenue, Bandar Utama has recently introduced their latest brunch promotion, “Brunch with a view” which available on every Sunday.

Accompanied by the magnificent view of Bandar Utama and its surroundings, the dining experience can be elevated by a few notch.

If you do not already know, Signature By The Hill is a restaurant cum bar and lounge housed under The Roof @ First Avenue, Bandar Utama. The Roof is a premium integrated F&B and entertainment hub featuring 5 distinctive outlets which included the aforementioned Signature By The Hill, Score, Play, Stratosphere and Malt & Leaf.

Being my first visit to the restaurant, I was deeply impressed by the interior. Ample space neatly equipped with elegant hemp rope chairs and wooden tables, various of unique lighting and the swirling wooden structure on the ceiling. The main illumination comes from the soaring high floor-to-ceiling glass window which is able to gain a wonderful view of the city too.

Decoration is minimalist but the restaurant exudes a class of its own especially the green plants that add liveliness to this place.

Cappuccino (RM 11.00), Ginger Mint Tea (RM 10.00/pot) & Orange Juice

Sun Kissed (RM 15.00)

Cold-pressed juice comprises of grapefruit, orange, red apple, pineapple, carrot and ginger, this latest technology manage to essential vitamins, minerals, micronutrients and antioxidants of each ingredients.

Big Breakfast (RM 26.00)

There’s so much happening on the plate, turkey ham, beef bacon, sauteed mushrooms, baked beans, breakfast chicken sausages, egg on toast, sun-dried tomato and sauteed potatoes.

Very generous portion and everything was pretty standard, satisfying but a tad too boring for me. The sauteed potatoes with pulled beef was surprisingly works well enough to leave a positive impression though.

Omelette Au Fromage (RM 18.00)

This is a thick cheesy omelette with sit on a slice of toast with side of smoked salmon salad. The texture of the omelette was done nicely with very moist inner however the taste was a little monochromatic, a flavor that bordered on bland.

Philly Cheese Steak Sandwich (RM 19.00)

A not so usual breakfast / brunch treat. Sliced sirloin steak sauteed with onion and capsicum with black pepper brown sauce then topped with luscious melted cheddar cheese. The steak slices were beautifully infused with flavorful and enticing seasoning, it was extremely tantalizing when paired with the melted cheese.

This is what I call “Breakfast Like A King!”

Verdict: There are really hits and misses for the food but I think the price range is quite reasonable considering the atmosphere and the setting of the restaurant. The breathtaking view from the roof top is alluring nonetheless and definitely one of the main attraction!
