Peranakan Hi-Tea Buffet @ Makan Nyonya, Estadia by Hatten, Melaka
Continue our topic of Cuti-Cuti Malaysia on last post, Malacca definitely one of the popular place when mention about weekends getaway! For an approximately 2 hours drive from Kuala Lumpur, one can enjoy the numerous great food as well as the historical sightseeing at this UNESCO World Heritage Site.
I came back again to Estadia by Hatten last 2 week after my pleasant stay a few months ago. I reached circa 12pm and check in was swift and smooth. After a refreshing nap, we were ready to go out for some food hunt around the town. We changed our mind when we were given this leaflet when we pass by Makan Nyonya at the hotel lobby. (I confess the extremely scorching weather outside also another main factor :P)

After strolling one round of the buffet spread, I was pretty surprise that the array of food served definitely one of the widest I’ve tried for Hi-Tea Buffet! Ranging from assorted Peranakan appetizer to the scrumptious main course and desserts.
Let’s see what we’ve tried, tons of delicious food photo ahead!

Although the appetizers and main dishes are mouthwatering, but I’ll make sure to save rooms for these! My greedy plate of dessert ^__* Oh boy, I have an overwhelming urge to indulge it again when I’m writing this.
There are also lovely array of western style dessert, expect to be spoilt for choice!
Last but no least, a traditional ice cream potong to end the splendid meal!
The happiest moment of Sam enjoying her ice cream potong!

Awesome issues here. I’m very happy to see your article.
Thanks a lot and I’m having a look ahead to touch you.
Will you kindly drop me a e-mail?
Thanks for the comment 🙂
the only Nyonya buffet I’d ever go for, would be Debbie Teoh’s. Just saying:)
But for those Malaccan, KL could be quite far for them 🙁
Ciki likes Debbie Teoh cos my surname is also Teoh, wins!
*palm forehead =.=”
I am eyeing at the tiffin carriers.hahah
I saw shops selling those tiffin carriers but price is not cheap though~
Those handmade beaded sandals used to be the rage at one time 🙂
Some designs are quite nice, maybe I should get one pair on my next visit to Melaka 🙂
Nice spread of food there.
Indeed! I love the Nyonya kuih the most!
that’s so much food for a high tea! i thought it would be a lunch buffet – and the price looks very worthwhile, with so many interesting ingredients 🙂
Yaya, definitely more than I’ve expected for a hi tea buffet!
