J & G Fried Chicken @ Sunway Putra Mall (Giveaway!)

My Taiwan trip was several years ago but I do vividly remember their local food. Acknowledged as one of Asia’s most exciting street food scenes, you are bound to have endless snacking moments at the traditional street stalls, eateries, cafe and of course at the abundant night markets!

One of the famous culinary export from Taiwan is Taiwanese fried chicken. As Malaysian do love their KFC, no wonder it is one of the most popular Taiwanese snack that are widely available. Since the last few years, there are a few Taiwanese brands mushrooming in Malaysia. One of the latest addition is J&G Fried Chicken (继光香香鸡).

Being rated top Taiwanese crispy chicken, J&G Fried Chicken was founded in 1973 and the first store was set up at TaiChung, Taiwan. With the persistence on “freshly fried”, J&G Fried Chicken successfully creating a deliciously taste from North to South of Taiwan. In recent years J&G Fried Chicken picks up the pace on bringing this Taiwanese legendary taste over China and currently it’s expanding to almost a hundred stores in both countries. Now the pride of Taiwanese crispy chicken J&G Fried Chicken  opens its first offshoot in Malaysia this month letting KL have a taste of their original recipes.

I was at their opening day of Malaysia’s first J&G Fried Chicken at 4th floor of Sunway Putra Mall which held on 14th November 2015. Here’s some photos I managed to take on that day.

Freshly fried boneless chicken with crispy outer while the inner retained the tenderness and juiciness. Dangerously addictive!

I was totally bowled over by this deep fried squid! Superbly crunchy and  flavorful that tempted me to go for one bite after another!
