Strangers At Forty 7 @ P.J
Strangers At Forty 7 has garnered quite a name in the community for serving up delectable range of sweet and savory crepes. All their creatively named crepes such as Shore to Please, Adam’s Sin, Spongebob’s Crib & etc which will certainly can give you an anticipation on what will served on your table. Forget about crepes should be eaten as snack or dessert and let them show you the exception!

Stirring up a minimal but cozy interior, with bare concrete walls, exposed light bulbs, hand-drawn wall murals and simple wooden furniture. The environment was not entirely comfortable as tables are placed a little too close for comfort. Luckily the amiable staffs who were always at our service compensated my only grouch.

More seats are available at the entrance of the shop. I like to be seated at this lovely corner however the blistering tropical heat really put me off. >_<

Flat White (RM 9.00)

Smooshie (RM 7.00)
Eggcited over Cheese (RM 24.50)
It was a seasonal item during my visit. A wholemeal crepe is stuffed with chicken chorizo, caramelized onions, baked mozzarella cheese, golden hash brown, rocket leaves, a golden sunny side up and finished with homemade tomato basil sauce. I did look like a mess but the multi-dimensional layers of flavors and textures making it a memorable rendition.

Letha Shrooms (RM 19.50)

A vegetarian creation of Portobello, shimeji and baby king oyster mushrooms, spinach and caramelised onions. I love mushrooms, this mushroom laden crepe literally make me gleam with joy. An addition of perfectly done poached egg, a spoonful of tomato relish and drizzles of balsamic reduction heighten up the scrumptious-ness of the overall dish.

Purple Rage (RM 9.00)

Is this place famous? I think i’ve seen this name many times…
How is considered famous actually? Haha! But this place is quite popular I would say 🙂
The crepes here are certainly decent…my fav savoury crepe is Shore to Please but I think the sweet ones are more successful (like Adam’s Sin). This purple sweet potato looks good too 🙂
I saw many good reviews about the Shore to Please, it must be really good 🙂 The sweet potato crepe, if u r a fan, definitely can’t miss!
ooo, i missed the seasonal Eggcited over Cheese … looks great! very hearty! 😀
I would like to go back to try other items too 🙂
