Kenny Hills Bakers @ The Waterfront, Desa Parkcity
This cafe is perpetually packed and thronged with breakfast crowd whenever I have my morning jog at Desa Parkcity (during weekdays or weekends). Kenny Hills Bakers is one of the eateries that opens rather early at The Waterfront, Desa Parkcity. It has been in my bucket list for a while and finally made it a couple of months ago.

The cafe was quite vacant when we arrived at 8am+ on Saturday but was filled up in really quick while we were busy tucking in. Since Desa Parkcity is a well-known pet friendly park in Klang Valley, so it’s very common to see pet lovers and their furry companions enjoy their breakfast time together at the al-fresco seating.

Breads and pastries lovers will go weak in the knees upon seeing these delectable array of artisan breads, pies, tarts and pastries.
There were the usual espresso based drinks, teas, smoothies and cold pressed juices in the beverage menu, price ranging from RM9.00 to RM18.00.

Cappuccino (RM11.00)
The choices in the food menu are sufficient to please everyone with decent selection of soups, salads, pastas, burgers, pies, quiches, savoury tarts and handcrafted to order pizzas.

Smoked Salmon & Avocado Croissant (RM24.00)
Very straight forward ensemble of smoked salmon slices, mashed avocado, lettuce and sliced cucumbers sandwiched in a halved croissant. I like the croissant which was nicely flaky and buttery but for that price, I really hoping for bigger portion of filling.
The options in the sandwich list (available from 8.00am to 4.00pm) included The Lafayette (RM24.00) – Sous vide egg, hollandaise sauce, smoked salmon & wilted spinach, Gilled Chicken & Avocado Croissant (RM22.00), Tuna Melt Croissant (RM19.00), Egg Benedict Salt Beef Bagel (RM28.00) & Smoked Salmon Bagel (RM26.00).

The Big Breakfast (RM32.00)

A fully loaded platter with chicken sausage, tomato, homemade baked beans, organic bread, sauteed mushrooms and an option of either two sunny side up served with salt beef and hash brown or scramble egg with smoked salmon. Everything were delightfully executed from the perfectly cooked sunny side up, adequately flavoured salt beef to the sauteed mushrooms that was plesantly infused with herbs. The price was justifiable with the generous portion too, I would say.

Eggs Your Way (RM12.00)
Sam’s choice – RM6.00 per egg, organic egg to be precise. You can have choices of sous vide eggs, sunny side up or scrambled egg as well.
Other breakfast items in the menu were The Old Malayan (RM15.00) – organic toast with sous vide eggs, homemade kaya and butter, Eggs Flamenco (RM26.00) – sous vide eggs , chickpeas and turkey chorizo in spiced tomato coulis, Vegetarian Eggs Flamenco (RM26.00) sous vide eggs, chickpeas, roasted vegetables and feta cheese, in spiced tomato coulis & Wood Fire Pita Bread (RM22.00) – served with hummus, marinated olives, green chilies and Spanish Red Pepper. Served from 8.00am to 3.00pm.

♥Verdict: To be honest, the price range was on the higher side but Kenny Hills Bakery is a good place to spend a meal on, nonetheless. A worthy addition to my growing list of breakfast cafe, perhaps I should try their baked good on my next visit.

I have seen this place and saw a lot of my friends posting it but I haven’t got the chance to visit this place at all. Maybe after CMCO ba… the big breakfast looks good eh. That two eggs a bit much tho. Hahaha…
Henry, CMCO is going to be ended soon, I predict, LOL
Two eggs are definitely too much for my hubby I know because he always cannot finish, but I think I manage to finish them as I love egg!
I must say that nothing is cheap there but everything is very good from its coffee to all the bread and pastries. I have only eaten at their original outlet at Jalan Langgak Duta. I should go to this Desa Park City outlet since it is nearer to home.
TM, maybe we will bump into each other here cause I jog here once a week.
The food looks good…especially the salt beef. I’ve been wanting to eat here (by that I mean at the Jln Ampang branch near me) but haven’t gotten round to it yet.
Kris, hopefully you can make it really soon and let me know what’s your verdict.
hi can i know when is the best time to go where less people is there?
Hi, I know weekends are definitely not a good timing as the queue started as early as 8+ when I done with my jogging. Maybe you can try you luck on weekdays, perhaps on non peak hours. 😛
