Soft Cloud @ Verve Shops at Verve Suites, Mont Kiara
Before my birthday dinner treat by my Makan Gang, we went for afternoon tea at Soft Cloud which is located nearby our dinner venue later at Hartamas Shopping Center.
Casual and fresh setting with a glass facade that takes in ample of sunlight to illuminate the dining space. Al-fresco seating is available on the corridor outside the shop.
Other than their signature Souffle Pancake in various flavours (RM19-26), Soft Cloud also offers a delectable range of Belgium Waffles (RM16-23), Soft Serves (RM10) and Trifles (RM16-20). The beverage menu consists of the essential coffees, non-coffee drinks, teas, as well as a good selection of frappe, smoothies, bubble drink and fizzy sodas.
Softcloud Souffle Pancake (RM26.00)
Since the pancake is made to order, so it takes about 30 minutes to be served, which is clearly mentioned in the menu.
The were three pieces of Souffle Pancake dusted with icing sugar, served along with Vanilla soft serve, maple syrup/honey (I’m not sure), a dollop of whipped cream and some fresh fruits. The pancakes were jiggly fluffy and airy, adequately sweet with mild eggy flavour. They were delicate and pillowy, just like the cafe’s name, like eating soft cottony clouds that melt in your mouth! (✧ω✧)
Fresh Fruits Waffle (RM22.00)
Accompanied by maple syrup/honey (I’m not sure again (*^^*)), a dollop of whipped cream and some diced fresh fruits, the Belgium Waffle was beautifully crisp and browned on the outside while being light and fluffy on the inside! Those condiments certainly made it more scrumptious and enjoyable.
Caffe Latte Float (RM17.00)
Verdict: A place that well worth checking out for dessert devotees. I enjoyed the food and they were admittedly good. Those desserts definitely doesn’t come cheap which I think I only afford to have it occasionally. Q_Q

KY, if you are “ant person” like me, you’ll definitely like it!
So colourful both plated desserts….and look yummy too! 😉 Yeah, it’s difficult to tell honey and maple syrup apart but if it tastes better and is less sweet, it’s usually maple syrup (the one I prefer…and the costlier one of the two). ^.^
Kris, I hope the one they offered was maple syrup considered that the price charged was not cheap. =.=”
