>Takeaway – Friendly Lunch – Rush Hour @ Manhattan Fish Market

>I’m once quite impressed with the Garlic Butter Mussel from Manhattan Fish Market (MFM) & think it was one of the best butter sauce that I ever taste. But the fact was I seldom go back for it due to so many new restaurants mushrooming & MFM never furnish a snap into my mind when I want to have a meal until I received an invitation from BBO for a food review, I have chance to try out their new products, thanks bro 🙂

Takeaway – Friendly Lunch – Rush Hour @ Manhattan Fish Market
A new campaign starts from 5th July, cruises for 5 weeks till 8th August 2010. This concept allow us to pre-order the food via phone call then drop by to collect the food & CIAO~~ Simple as 1,2,3~~

The Rush Hour menu featured by:-

Citrus Mint (RM 6.90)
Definitely a thirst quencher~~ Sourish lemon + cooling mint = Refreshing~~ Ah~~~~~

Flakin’ Fun In The Garden (RM 13.90)
Fresh crunchy vegetables & tuna flakes served with 2 types of dressing -Caesar Chutney or Cajun Honey Mustard, suitable for those who want light meal or on diet like me 😛

Flamin’ Tuna Pie (RM 15.90)
Free fire show by MFM staff ^.^ The pie consisted of tuna chunks, sauteed vegetables and top with homemade mashes potato & creamy mozzarella then flamed with firegun.

Wrap N’ Roll (RM 14.90)
Tuna, fresh vegetables wrapped with tortilla served with generous portion of chips.

Shrimp My Pasta (RM 16.90)
Oh la la, I love this!!! Al dente spaghetti tossed in light garlicky olive oil, sprinkled with lots of herbs & chili flakes. Not forget the fresh & huge prawns!!

Beside the food in Rush Hour menu, they also served us:-

Manhattan Seafood Platter (RM 46.90)
MFM signature dish, portion is enough to be shared by 2-3 persons. The garlic rice underneath covered bountifully by deep fried fish fillet, oyster, calamari (squid) & prawns. And once again the flaming show appeared, those fresh prawns topped with cheese & mayonnaise were flamed.

Garlic Butter Mussels (RM 16.90)
Imported mussels drenched in rich & creamy butter sauce. Oh boy, it’s just simply out of the world delicious stuff!!! The garlic toasted baguettes served in the set taste good too if dip with the garlic butter sauce. A must try I tell you!!!

Grilled Norwegian King Salmon Fillet (RM 26.90)
Look at the thick slab of salmon!!!!

How can we ended a meal without having any dessert right?

Tuscan Tiramisu (RM 9.90)
Creamy, soft & slightly bitter from the coffee, I’m not a coffee person & not too fancy about Tiramisu but this win my heart 🙂

Manhattan Mud Pie (RM 10.90)
Rich chocolate cookie ice cream pied topped with nuts & syrup. A bit too sweet for my liking but dessert mean to be sweet ^.^

It’s my 1st time did a food review, definitely a good experience for me. Feel happy to meet in person some bloggers like Xin & hubby, Sidney & Sunny, Johnson & Andrew. Hope I have chance to attend more food reviews very soon 🙂
