Love Mom Restaurant @ Klang
Nothing happier than when your sudden craving was satisfied and the meal was enjoyable.
Because of the Insta Story posting of Chu Bro, one of my favourite Youtubers (because of his humorous ᕕ( ᐛ )ᕗ), I was craving for Appam or Apom that whole week. So when I knew that my craving can be satiated at a popular Sri Lankan restaurant after our lunch at Top 1 Chicken Rice , it had me singing for joy. (✯◡✯)
Appam (also known as “palappam”) is a type of pancakes or hoppers from the Kerala cuisine that are made from ground, fermented rice and coconut batter. Appam at Love Mom Restaurant appeared as one of the must-try food at Klang when we Google “what to eat at Klang”.
The bright and airy restaurant with tables being well arranged within the space.
Apart from the sought-after Appam, you’ll find a good assortment of Sri Lankan delights and Indian dishes ti be paired with rice at Love Mom Restaurant.
Appam Plain (RM2.20)
The restaurant offers four types of Appam and we had them all that day. (*゜▽゜ノノ☆
The simple original Appam came with crispy lacy edges and soft spongy center. It had the distinctive sourish note of fermented food.
Appam Paal (RM2.20)
Served with a small bowl of sweetened coconut milk, this version came with a more creamy custard like coconut cream center.
Appam Brown Sugar (RM2.50)
Appam sprinkled with brown sugar for that lovely hint of sweetness.
Appam Egg (RM3.20)
Last but no least, Appam crowned with a wobbly sunny side up, which provided a richer and creamier flavour and texture.
♥ Verdict: There are mixed reviews regarding the service and the attitude of the owner in Tripadvisor, but we had no issue about this during our visit. The Appam are certainly worth checking out if you’re at that area.

I shall check this out one of these days, and yes top 1 chicken rice is awesome.
KY, initially wanted to try Klang Jaya & Yummy Fried Chicken that I read from your blog, but they are closed on Sunday, so sad~~~~
