Jeff Lee Kitchen @ Sungai Buloh
A casual dining out night, hubby suggested Jeff Lee Kitchen that he has been pestering me to try for the longest time and it got my approval finally, haha ^__^
Occupied 2 shoplots, Jeff Lee Kitchen is one of the popular restaurant at that vicinity that serve affordable Chinese food. (Another one should be THIS)
The newer shop is air-conditioned while the original old shop is not I guess. (Anyone can enlighten me?) The restaurant was quite vacant on our visit on a weekday night, I heard that business can be very brisk on weekends and do expect the long queue on peak hour.
Chrysanthemums Tea (RM 6.00 / jug)
Minced Pork Egg Noodle (RM 6.00)
One of their signature noodle, the plain egg noodle was simply blanched then topped with savory minced meat. The noodle was decent, springy and cooked just right and the dark soy sauce minced meat and the essential pork lard definitely helped to flavor up the noodle.
Paku Pakis Salad (RM 10.00)
Prepared in Kerabu style, the crunchy ferns were dressed in lemon sauce crowned with crispy fried dried shrimps. Sour & tangy with a tinge of spiciness, a must order I would say!
Crispy Pork Belly with Sweet Dark Soy Sauce (RM 15.00)
Not my first time having this but can’t resist to try Jeff Lee Kitchen’s version. The pork belly was was not much different with the previous I’ve tried, slightly crispy and coated with sweet dark soy sauce. Simply superb and addictive!
Verdict: A restaurant that I will revisit as they have too many signature dishes that attracted me such as roasted duck, poached chicken and claypot lou shu fun. I’m drooling now and maybe I should pay them a visit today, yay~

Their food is good but service a bit slow
I went on weekday and not many people, service was fast 😛
Omg I miss their paku pakis salad! 🙂 Its so refreshing and yummy.
You should try one of their other specialty too – roast chicken. They hang it up, quite a show dish haha.
Reminder to myself, must order the roasted chicken next time as my future bro in law also told me this 🙂
Minced Pork Egg Noodle & Paku Pakis Salad looks very yummy!
The Paku Pakis Salad looks similar to the one I had at The Hans room. This one definitely bigger portion!
I’ll re-order the paku pakis, love it~
Cheap and good food! Would love to try paku pakis, never tried before, hardly see one in Penang 🙁
Maybe u can suggest this to your good friend, Hock Chai 😛

Ya, duck and chicken are recommended by many! Must have them on my next visit!
no wonder the name sounds so familiar, i remember reading about this eatery in Small Kucing’s blog someday ago!! haha~~ nice comfort food i would say, i especially love that pork belly (forget about the calories)..
Ya, Kathy blogged about it 🙂
Normally we go to SF restaurant, beside the Chinese School. I think went once with Small Kucing before. The food is cheap and service is fast also. Maybe you can give a try next time.
Not really venture into Sungai Buloh area, but I know there are a lot of Chinese dai chow restaurants~
